RIOSRIOS Privacy Policy
This policy explains what RIOS receives from BigCommerce, how that data is used for financial planning, and what happens when the app is uninstalled.
Data RIOS receives
RIOS receives the BigCommerce store identifier, authorized user information contained in BigCommerce install/load callbacks, and read-only commerce data needed for the financial model, including store information, orders, order products, refunds and product cost fields when available. Before commerce responses are persisted in the financial cache, RIOS discards raw customer, billing and payment-detail fields it does not need. Cached snapshots retain only the order, status, date, currency, line-level financial/cost and refund fields required for the model.
How the data is used
Data is used to authenticate the app, synchronize commerce activity, calculate transparent financial metrics, forecast, generate deterministic signals and recommendations, model scenarios, and maintain merchant-supplied assumptions and decision outcomes.
Credential security
BigCommerce access tokens and webhook secrets are encrypted at rest by the application before database storage. They are not displayed to merchants or included in logs by application code.
Retention and uninstall
While installed, RIOS retains the commerce cache needed for the configured historical model. On uninstall, cached commerce records, financial settings, users, webhook receipts and decisions are deleted. The installation record is deactivated and its stored credentials are cleared.
